Amy is our latest addition joining Ilene Oren and Company in 2003. Her fashion and marketing background in school and love of people has made Amy a big asset to the company.

Amy brings enthusiasm, energy and creativity to our tween showroom as well as strong retail experience when working with her specialty stores.

Gabrielle Gavzie

Gabrielle has 10 years experience in the children’s market with various corporate companies in buying, merchandising and showroom sales (her personal favorite!)

At Ilene Oren and Company Gabi utilizes her expertise in sales, merchandising and working with department stores and small chain stores.

She is our “big sister” to the girls in the showroom and MS. ORGANIZATION!

Ilene Oren

Ilene Oren has been in the children’s wear business since 1990 with a previous background in the junior market. While working with girls clothing in all sizes Ilene discovered a niche in the 7-14 size range which later became the “tween market”. By the mid 1990’s Ilene was focused on this new and happening category. Lines were redefined to offer stores and their customers the clothes they were looking for. As the tween market grew and the demand increased it was the right time to open up a showroom.

It has been very exciting and rewarding to see this new category take off and become a major force in the market today. We are thrilled to be an important resource for the tween buyer and look forward to continued growth in the future.

The Company

Ilene Oren & Company is a multi-line showroom specializing in the better 7-14 brands.

Conveniently located in the Children’s Wear building in the heart of New York City’s famous garment district, we are dedicated to providing our accounts with the hottest looks in the “tween market”. Thanks to the support of our manufacturers and retailers, we’ve grown from a one-woman business in 1998 to a four-person company today.

We cover all categories – including casual related separates, denim, vintage looks, t-shirts/tops, special occasion wear and gowns. Our buyers can fill virtually all of their tween needs at our showroom, and love finding so much under one roof.

We are extremely fashion-forward, as the tween girl wants to look just like her big sister. We have something for everyone and are dedicated to providing our accounts with the “hottest looks”. Our manufacturers benefit from our expertise too, as we work closely with them to optimize the design and merchandising of their lines.

You can find our brands in a constantly expanding list of major department stores, multi-store operations, and boutiques nationally and internationally. Our brands also can be found nearly every month in magazines such as Earnshaw’s and Children’s Business.
